Furthermore, staff are not treated well my managers at all in this place. There is a ton of pressure put onto us with only very minimal people put on the floor to manage everything while managers go and sit with customers or walk around on their phones. Customers regularly mention how they find no one around and see 1/2 people struggling to cope with everything alone. I always feel pressure when I come to work and never leave happy because of how I get treated and spoken to. I have found out this particular team leader earlier mentioned has also gone around to regular customers insulting another staff member calling her names such as a ‘slag’ and criticizing her looks. This is not the kind of environment I wanted to work in and not the kind of managers I want to have.
Complaint regarding treatment at work
I have been working at Brewers fayre Chafford hundred for 6 months and the way I have been treated by this branch is appalling. Since starting this job I have not been welcomed at all particularly by managers which have been making comments on me although I received no training whatsoever and it was my first ever job. I have had an ongoing issue with specific individuals one being a team leader which has made numerous comments towards me such as ‘go and find another job’, ‘they don’t tell me what to do I tell them what to do’ when asking for help and recently shouting at me infront of customers when I had notified her my shift was over( this team leader is Cody). Aswell, a team member close to this team leader has screamed at me in the kitchen for something that was out of my control while I was busy which I then went to my manager about and these two individuals were laughing outside the office making comments about me while I was in an emotional state unable to carry on my job.
