Who We Are

Urban Precinct is a Music & Media training provider based in Hemel Hempstead.

Established as 3rd PRECINCT Ltd in 2003 the husband and wife organisation began trading as Urban Precinct in 2006 and added record company Urban Precinct Records. Specialties: Singing & Drumming Tuition & Masterclasses, Music Technology, Audio & Video Editing, Mixing & Mastering, Songwriting, Gospel Workshops & Choirs, Corporate Audio & Video.

Director Floyd Adams III is an Apple Certified Trainer and award wining drummer (Mary J Blige etc.).
Director & Founder Charlotte Roel is a former EMI Recording Artist & 'Voice of UNICEF'.

What we do

Urban Precinct works with the public, as well as private sector and service orgnisations such as: Herts County Council, Dacorum Borugh Council, DESC, schools, charities, churches, individuals etc.

Our aim is to empower students with the transferable skills and solid knowledge that will enable them to build a sustainable future whether in the creative & media industry, music business, arts world or in other trades. We use a combination of cutting-edge and traditional technology. Students will learn how to use their tools and enhance their skills through exposure to exercises, which will improve their employability.
